God's love renews hearts for love
Love changes people, and through people reaches others with the potential to change societies for the better, for life. To grace and forgiveness when someone repents of wrongdoing. To make amends where we have wronged as best as we can. To flourish so that we may do good for others.
Love leads to doing no harm to others, but to spreading fairness and mercy. A loving person is no longer corrupt, does not twist the law in favor of the powerful or speak falsehood. He loves the truth and he loves God, who is love, from whom everything comes and to whom everything goes.
Love wants to multiply love, love wants the good for others. Love rejoices with others who rejoice. Love suffers with others who suffer. God himself wants to save everyone, that everyone may come to the knowledge of the truth, become lovers. But he has given men free will to love him and to believe in him, to trust him. And from the relationship with him comes love for all people.
He first loved us, formed us wonderfully, and made reconciliation possible through Jesus on the cross. Through God's Spirit we are filled with his love. Jesus draws all people to Him, with gentle love that changes us. Because of our own ways away from God, we need salvation, forgiveness, renewal. Jesus paid with his earthly life, his flesh and blood, for us, to redeem us from the curse of sin, from sin itself, and to renew us in our hearts and in the Spirit. So that he might feel comfortable with us, and his indwelling spirit leads to good works in and with us. As a blessing for eternity and for the people to whom we are set and sent.
So that all may recognize and praise God, so that His love und trustworthiness may be recognized, and hearts may be turned to Him, so that they, filled with His love, may also love God back and love others. And forgive as he has forgiven us. Give and keep your heart with God. Learn and become new and strong.
